This is one of the giant redwoods, privately owned, that you can drive a car through.
And here is the same tree with our car coming through it!
The Benbow Inn where we stayed. It is a lovely historic hotel with charming grounds and incredible antique furniture. We dined in the Benbow restuarant, attached, and had a fabulous meal with the most tender filet mignon I have ever tasted. Creme Brulee for dessert is my favorite! Yummy!

Driving through a tree would be pretty cool. I'll have to show the photos to my kids. They'll get the biggest kick out of them.
